Overview

The global nature of today’s marketplace demands a new type of graduate: One equipped with the fundamentals of market economies and the multivalent forces that shape the operating environments of organisations, both nationally and internationally.

This course emphasises core business and international trade principles as well as the issues that face business internationalisation and its effect on traditional business management functions. As such, the skills and knowledge attained from this course are highly transferable across a variety of professions giving students an advantage in the workplace.

Learning Outcomes

The course is designed to integrate a deep understanding of the subject matter with the development of key skills and competencies needed to adapt to a rapidly changing, dynamic and competitive global marketplace. Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of concepts and procedures related to business functions and processes.
  • Apply industry- and discipline-specific tools to the analysis of targeted international business opportunities and challenges.

Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, students are required to have a minimum of:

  • 5 SPM Credits (including English) or its equivalent
  • 2 A-Level Passes / 2 STPM Principals or a recognised Degree

Trial examination / Forecast results are accepted
