Insurance
It is compulsory for students to purchase basic insurance. (Personal Accident Insurance). Those who already have insurance coverage will need to submit proof (a photocopy) of their insurance policy. For students who wish to purchase an insurance plan that includes Medical/Hospitalisation coverage they can contact the insurance agent directly:- Mr Rahmat 019-2195626.

Upon receipt of the necessary documents and fees, BAC will apply for the Student Pass/Visa on the students behalf, a process which will take between 1 1/2 -3 months to complete. Contingent upon approval, the Immigration Department of Malaysia will send BAC the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) which will then be couriered back to the student along with the offer letter.

The student will then proceed to present the VAL and offer letter at the Malaysian Embassy in their home country to secure a single entry visa which is valid for 3 months.

Note: The VAL is only valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issue.

Arrival Procedures
Students will need to inform the BAC International Student Office one week prior to arrival in Kuala Lumpur to arrange for airport pick-up. This service will be conducted during office hours between 9-5pm from Monday to Friday. Exceptions can be made in the event that the student's arrival time is outside of the scheduled pick-up hours. BAC's representatives will receive the students and take them through immigration to receive the Social Visit visa which is valid for 30 days.

Mr.Gilbert Blasutto the BAC Registrar from the International Student Office will collect the student's passport so that the college may apply for a Student Pass/Visa from the Malaysian Immigration Department. The Student Visa/Pass will take between 2-3 weeks for approval. Meanwhile, the student will then be issued an authorization letter from BAC which contains a certified true copy of the student's passport. This letter authorizes the student to travel within Malaysia.
