What better way to celebrate World Music Day than with an afternoon filled with music, drama, dance, and unforgettable performances? MUSICAL EVE: ROCK YOUR WORLD! 2026 brought together creativity, passion, and talent in a spectacular showcase that left the audience inspired and entertained from start to finish.

Organised by the BAC Spoken Word Club in conjunction with World Music Day, the event was held on 30 June 2026 at the BAC PJ Flagship Campus at attended by fitty over participants. The musical aimed to showcase the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the club through an original production entirely conceptualised and executed by its committee members.

From scriptwriting and directing to choreography and production, every aspect of the performance reflected the team’s passion for the performing arts. To foster inclusivity and collaboration, auditions were opened to all entity of BAC, providing aspiring performers across the education group with the opportunity to take centre stage.

The afternoon began with a variety of engaging music-themed activities, including drama, singing, dancing, and interactive performances that set an energetic tone for the day. Participants also enjoyed three exciting game booths, Musical Charades, Lyric Chain, and Guess the Artist or Song, which kept the crowd entertained and encouraged lively participation throughout the event. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere was a glitter-inspired, pop-themed photobooth where attendees captured memorable moments with friends and fellow participants.

Following the conclusion of the activities, guests were ushered into the hall by the emcees for the highlight of the afternoon—the original musical production. The show opened with a captivating performance by the lead character, instantly drawing the audience into the story.

Throughout the performance, the hall was filled with enthusiastic applause and cheers as the cast delivered an impressive showcase of acting, singing, and dance. The original production stood as a testament to the creativity, teamwork, and dedication of everyone involved, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
