About OrphanAid
OrphanAid is a nation building initiative spearheaded by Raja Singham, Co-Founder of the BAC Education Group and Uplift, in collaboration with Rotary District 3300, Malaysia. This initiative is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education.
In collaboration with Rotary International District 3300 Malaysia, the initiative will also leverage Rotary’s extensive network to identify eligible students and provide additional support. Furthermore, donors contributing to OrphanAid can benefit from tax exemptions through Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia (YKKRM), ensuring greater transparency and accountability in the disbursement of funds.
Our approach focuses on
THREE KEY PILLARS
FREE TUITION
Through a partnership with SPMFlix, OrphanAid provides free online tuition for 12 core subjects in the latest Malaysian Form 4 & Form 5 syllabus. Plans are also underway to introduce face-to-face tutoring to further support students in need
BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
In collaboration with SPMFlix and 1MillionDevices, we equip orphanages with refurbished laptops, giving children the tools they need to learn, connect, and grow in an increasingly digital world.
HIGHER EDUCATION ACCESS
To break financial barriers, the BAC Education Group and its partner institutions offer a sustainable funding model that guarantees a 75% bursary for tertiary education, with remaining 25% through PTPTN loans or other sources.
Through these initiatives, OrphanAid ensures that no child gets left behind. Together, we can create a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
