The BAC Global Law Faculty Initiative is back for the 5th consecutive year!

Learn from the leading academicians, examiners and subject matter experts from around the world with our Global Law Faculty Initiative. These principal lecturers and guest lecturers are internationally renowned specialists in various disciplines of law and prominent members of academia who are highly respected in their fields.

These special classes, supplemented with an additional 10 hours of revision, are available to all BAC Malaysia and Singapore students for free with no increase in tuition fees. Classes will be run in the evening and recorded for ease of revision.

Professor James Devenney

The McCann FitzGerald Chair of International Law and Business at University College Dublin, previous leadership roles include Exeter Law School and Durham Law School. His research has been influential internationally, cited by courts in Singapore and the UK, and the English Law Commission. He has advised the Law Commission on consumer law and commercial practices and contributed to discussions on Australian contract law reform with the Australian Attorney-General’s Department, as well as a harmonization project with Singapore’s Ministry of Law.

Company Law

Dr Mike Varney

Head of the Lincoln Law School, specialises in administrative law, comparative administrative law, local government law and transparency, maintains a scholarly interest in company law and employment law and has contributed to academic textbooks and practitioners' works in those fields.
