BAC Joins St. Marian's in celebrating Appreciation Night

Located in the tranquil heart of Bukit Damansara, St. Marian's Education Group has been providing primary and secondary schoolers with a unique brand of holistic education since 2016. Focusing on a holistic approach, students participate in a variety of non-academic activities such as theatre and public speaking, in order to build their soft skills, and set themselves apart from the rest.

After all, "anyone can achieve good grades," said Ms Priya Michael, Principle and Founder of the education group, "but what sets our graduates apart is their character and their well-roundedness. We want to prepare our students for the future, so it's important for them to develop their extra-curricular skills."

The students of St. Marian's performed an adaptation of 'The Greatest Showman,' based on the successful Hollywood movie. Rehearsals began all the way in February for their annual performance, and the whole process was overseen by Ms Ashley, Director and Program Coordinator at St. Marian's. All students were encouraged to participate, and find themselves through working in the various departments a theatre production involves. "Some of our performers were also quite shy at first, and it was really nice to see them come out of their shells over the course of rehearsals."

Mr Raja Singham, Managing Director of the BAC Education Group was also present, and gave a speech to the attendees of the night. Mr Aria Singham and Mr Sudesh Sherman Kumar were also amongst the attendees of the night. Mr Aria was invited to present awards to some of the students.

The event was held at the Temple of Fine Arts in Brickfields. Although the event was somewhat close in schedule to the Malaysian elections, the hall was still filled with family members, students, staff, and esteemed guests, who were filled with great anticipation for the show.

The night was a success for all the students and staff members of the St. Marian's Education Group, with rave reviews from guests who attended. This event, with a 'world-class script' and high-quality production and performances definitely stunned the audience. It was an impressive feat, akin to the likes of Broadway, and many proud parents were there to support their children.

It was an immensely enjoyable experience, and St. Marian's guest from BAC were happy to be a part of the entire night.
