Health and safety is paramount to BAC Education. It is considered an essential part of our management process. We intend to continually improve our health and safety management systems and expect all our staff, students, visitors and contractors to actively participate in this process. Following our policies, procedures and guidance will enable you to meet the necessary requirements of regulation. BAC Education provides and maintains a safe and healthy environment in which you can work, study, visit and enjoy yourself.
The Health & Safety Department’s specific role is to:
- Initiate, develop and oversee the campus’ overall health and safety programs in consultation with the college’s community
- To provide a safe working environment for all staff, students and visitors
- Comply with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislation
