On a cool and cloudy Sunday morning, the BAC Leo Club embarked on a nature escape at Taman Tugu Trails, an urban forest park nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Known for its lush greenery, beginner-friendly jungle trails, and easy accessibility, the park offered the perfect setting for a day of light hiking to bond with one-another while reconnecting with nature without leaving the city.

From the moment the team entered the trails, they were surrounded by the calming sounds of the forest and dense tropical foliage. The paths were well-marked and well-maintained, complete with wooden bridges, gentle inclines, and clean rest areas that made the journey enjoyable for all fitness levels. The forest canopy provided plenty of shade, while the cool weather added to the refreshing atmosphere.

Along the way, the group encountered the biodiversity that makes Taman Tugu a hidden gem of the city. Butterflies fluttered through the trees, birds called overhead, and small jungle creatures occasionally appeared in the undergrowth. One of the most memorable highlights came at the canopy section, where the rays of sunlight filtered beautifully through the leaves. A moment that that left a lasting impression on the hikers.

What made this trip particularly special was the spirit of togetherness. Walking at a relaxed pace, the Leo Club members encouraged one another, shared stories, and embraced the calm of the forest. The experience was not just about the hike but about deepening friendships and finding renewed energy as a team.

With free entry, ample parking, water stations, and rest points, Taman Tugu proved to be more than just a hiking spot. It was a reminder of the green spaces that still thrive within Kuala Lumpur, offering city-dwellers a peaceful retreat.

For the BAC Leo Club, it was a necessary pause to connect with nature, strengthen the team's bond, and appreciate the beauty that lies just a few steps away from our busy Kuala Lumpur.
