BACCF Intervarsity Christian Week (ICW) 2025: United in the Gospel

Every year, Christian Fellowships (CFs) across colleges and universities in Malaysia come together for one special week, a time to celebrate, reconnect and refocus on the shared mission of living out the Gospel on campus. Intervarsity Christian Week (ICW) has become a cherished tradition in the student ministry calendar, a movement of unity and encouragement that transcends campuses and denominations.

Being the 6th year since its inception in 2018, ICW 2025 once again gathered more than 500 students from over 20 university of CFs across the Klang Valley, including Taylor’s, Monash, INTI, IMU, MAHSA, BAC, UKM and many others. What makes this event remarkable is that it is entirely student-led, a testament to how God empowers young people to lead, serve and share love and fellowship, right where they are, on campus.

Held from 30th September - 4th October 2025, the theme this year, Dangers in Christian Ministry verses Things Students Say, invited participants to reflect deeply on how subtle attitudes and everyday thoughts can sometimes drift from the truth of the Gospel. Through thought-provoking talks, group discussions and honest conversations, students explored how easily ministry can become about self rather than Christ and how discernment, humility and faithfulness are essential to serving God well. It was a week that called everyone back to the heart of ministry: to make much of Jesus, not us.

BACCF Hosts ICW Day 1 - The Brickfields Asia College Christian Fellowship (BACCF) was honoured to host Day 1 of ICW for the second consecutive year, welcoming almost 200 participants, into our hall. The day began with joyful worship, filling the space with voices lifted in praise and hearts united a one. The sessions for the night sparked deep reflection and genuine fellowship as students wrestled with how the Gospel shapes every part of our hearts, lives and ministries.

The atmosphere was vibrant with laughter, prayers and meaningful conversations flowed freely as students from different campuses met, encouraged one another and discovered how God was moving across universities in Malaysia.

A Testimony from Alex (BACCF)

I am truly grateful to be one of the privileged people to be part of ICW,  a place where I get to witness so many different CFs coming together for the Gospel. When I first joined ICW, I was amazed that such a big event could be organized and run entirely by university students. Seeing so many talented individuals using the gifts God has given them, not for their own glory, but for His, deeply inspired me. Through their dedication, I caught a glimpse of what it truly means to be a Christian and to love God wholeheartedly. It showed me how much more I can do for Him and it deepened my understanding of what genuine love for God looks like. I also had the opportunity to listen to many powerful testimonies and witness how God can transform lives. It made me realise the depth of God’s amazing grace, that we get to be part of CF and ICW. It is truly an honour to serve and be part of this ministry."

United for the Gospel

As ICW 2025 ended, one message echoed in every heart: campus ministry is not done in isolation. Encouraged and strengthened, the BACCF continues to stand firm in the Gospel, calling students to a closer encounter with God who saves by His grace.

See You at ICW 2026!

With hearts full of gratitude and anticipation, the BACCF look forward to ICW 2026, another opportunity to grow together in Christ’s mission on campus. Until then, may they continue to serve faithfully, love deeply and live boldly for the Gospel, on our campuses and beyond.

ICW 2025 is a reminder that campus ministry isn’t done alone, but as whole in the same mission, serving and they are so grateful for every CF that joined in and can’t wait to see how God continues to move on campuses across Malaysia!
