BACCF’s Journey at RUFCON 2025
A Celebration of Grace, Growth &
Gospel Legacy

The BAC Christian Fellowship (BACCF) joined over three hundred students, alumni, and staff workers at RUFCON 2025, held at Ancasa Resort in Port Dickson from June 26–28, to attend a united celebration of worship and thanksgiving. Organised once every five years by the Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), this rare and powerful gathering unites campus ministries from across Malaysia to celebrate God’s work, share stories of transformation, and renewal of mission to preach the Gospel on campus.

The convention kicked off with a vibrant campus ministry carnival of Christian fellowship, where twelve different Christian Fellowships each hosted a booth representing their unique history and culture. The booths were all filled with games, refreshments, custom merchandise, and joyful storytelling, a rich reminder of God’s faithfulness over the years. Laughter, friendship, and shared experiences were in abundance as participants rejoiced in the grace that has sustained each fellowship through seasons of struggle and triumph.

It was all worship, word, and waves, over the next two days, with the theme of Grace echoing through every worship session, keynote talk, and late-night beach games. The speakers unpacked how God’s unmerited grace shapes identity, purpose, and the calling of each one of them. Participants then dove deeper through workshops and electives, movimg into topics such as discipleship, spiritual maturity, and living faithfully in a broken world.

Like a reward, The Gala night was truly a standout. It was an evening filled with testimonies, awards, and inspiring reflections from students, alumni, and staff. It was a powerful time of honouring those who have gone before us, and recommitting to the legacy of Gospel ministry on campus.

Jessel, a BACCF member shared,

"I had the privilege of attending RUFCON 2025, where 12 Christian Fellowships from various universities came together for one purpose, to be reminded of the incredible grace God has given us. One of the most meaningful moments was connecting with alumni from different fellowships and attending the electives they led. Hearing their stories of struggle, faith, and perseverance reminded me that none of us are here by accident. We are here by the sovereign grace of God. RUFCON was a powerful reminder that it is grace that unites us, sustains us, and moves us forward."

While the next RUFCON will only return in 2030, Jessel and the BACCF committee invited all the attendees to look forward and join in the Intervarsity Christian Week (ICW) 2025 to experience the same spirit and unity they had at RUFCON. And guess what? That is right, the first day of ICW event will be right here at BAC!”

As RUFCON 2025 ended, participants are now looking ahead, renewed with hearts full in the promise of God, not just with memories, but with purpose. They have it in their hearts that although they will only return as alumni for RUFCAN 2030, their commitment to campus ministry remains unwavering. They parted ways trusting God to lead them to bring love, peace, and fellowship among them and to all via their club - the BACCF.

We wish them well as they continue to prepare and remain united with Christian Fellowships from across the nation, and as they anticipate and prepare for ICW 2025 - a celebration of unity, Gospel proclamation, and renewed mission. May the club continue to give God all the glory—past, present, and future, and may His love continue to guide them!
