Financial Literacy Talk & KWSP Account Opening Guidance Session

BAC x KWSP: Empowering Students Through Financial Literacy 

The BAC Career Club, in collaboration with a team from the Employees Provident Fund (KWSP), successfully hosted the Financial Literacy Talk & KWSP Account Opening Guidance Session on 17 December 2025.

The session aimed to enhance students’ financial awareness and readiness for long-term financial planning. KWSP representatives delivered an informative talk covering personal financial management, retirement planning, KWSP membership benefits and available digital services. Students actively participated and demonstrated strong engagement throughout the session.

Following the talk, participants received hands-on guidance on opening and activating their KWSP accounts and i-Akaun. KWSP officers provided step-by-step assistance, enabling students to immediately apply what they learned and clarify individual queries. The programme concluded with a networking and refreshment session, allowing students to interact informally with KWSP representatives and gain further insights into financial planning and employment-related contributions.

Overall, the event successfully promoted financial literacy, encouraged early and responsible financial habits and strengthened engagement between BAC students and KWSP, reflecting BAC’s commitment to holistic student development beyond academics.
