On 27th November 2021, Brickfields Asia College's Class of 2020 and 2021 finally had their Graduation Ceremony at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.
This time, it was a little different.
This Convocation Ceremony was a hybrid session- giving graduands the option of arriving in person for the ceremony, or to participate virtually.
Graduands who opted for the physical ceremony were livestreamed as they made their way onstage. Virtual graduands, along with excited parents, friends and relatives followed the event from home.
Present at the sessions were:
- Raja Singham (Managing Director, BAC),
- Andrew Kalish (Legal Counsel, BAC Education)
- Murali Kandasamy (CEO, BAC)
- Rueben Rozario (Director of Laws, BAC)
- Dr. Gary Tan (Head, School of Business, BAC Education & Dean, School of Business & Communication, VUC)
- Raymond Markus (Head of Business, VUC)
- V. Puvaneswary (Senior Lecture, BAC)
and other members of the teaching faculty.
Following Mr. Raja Singham's opening speech, graduands of the UOL, UKT (Law), UKT (Business), Aberystwyth 3+0 and MBA programmes were then presented with their respective scrolls.
While the families of the graduands could not be in the hall due to pandemic restrictions, they still found a way to show their support and pride. Many families were waiting patiently outside the venue, dressed to the nine's in support of the graduands, and to celebrate after.
After a long wait (especially for the class of 2020), the graduands walked on stage to receive their certficates- and to finally become graduates.
We wish our graduates the very best as they venture into their next journey.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Graduating Class of 2020 and 2021- We are so very proud of you!
