IACT College Collaborates with ASUS and Zevolusi for Practical Tech Workshop

IACT College recently partnered with tech leaders ASUS and Zevolusi to host an engaging workshop titled "DaVinci Resolve Editing Software and DIY PC Building." Held on 9th May 2025, from 10.00am to 2.00pm at BACPAC, the session brought together 50 enthusiastic participants, including students from various IACT programmes, as well as lecturers and staff.

The workshop aimed to enhance students’ technical knowledge by introducing them to DaVinci Resolve, a professional-grade video editing software widely used in the media and content creation industry. Participants gained valuable hands-on experience navigating the software’s features and interface, guided by Mr. Danny Gan, a certified DaVinci Resolve trainer with industry expertise.

In addition to software training, attendees explored the latest high-performance ASUS hardware with the help of Zevolusi. They learned about DIY PC building, an increasingly relevant skill for media professionals who require customised setups for editing, rendering, and production work.

Workshops like these are crucial in preparing students for the evolving demands of the creative industry. They not only introduce participants to cutting-edge tools but also provide insight into how software and hardware work together to deliver optimal results in real-world projects.

By hosting sessions like these that blend technical skills with practical exposure, IACT College continues to strengthen its commitment to industry-relevant education and student employability.
