Jurassic World Rebirth Kaw-Kaw Satu
Malaysia’s Favourite Dinosaur Drink Recipe

In every Jurassic Park movie, there’s one idea that echoes in every single movie in the franchise:
“Life finds a way.”
Today, Reliance College (Malaysia’s leading hospitality & culinary arts school) has a better idea: “What’s the best drink before or after watching Jurassic World Rebirth?”
There’s only one correct answer. Some of you might have guessed it. Hint: this drink is the apex predator on any mamak restaurant’s drink menu.
The Milo Dinosaur.
But not just any Milo Dinosaur. We’re talking about the kind of Milo Dinosaur that gets your tastebuds roaring louder than a T-Rex* chasing down Chris Pratt & Scarlett Johansen.
One so “gao”, it could survive that meteor.
Sure, you’ve had it at the mamak. Maybe even made it at home. But if you’ve ever asked; “How do I make one that’ll blow all the others out of the Mosasaurus-infested** water?”
Reliance College found a way.
The Ultimate MILO DINOSAUR Recipe
By Yogeswari Achanah, Culinary Lecturer cum Head of Programme, Reliance College
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp Milo (or more if you want it super gao)
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp evaporated milk (optional, for creaminess)
- 200ml cold water or milk (chilled)
- Ice cubes (as much as your glass allows)
- 2 tbsp Milo (extra, for that dinosaur topping)
Instructions:
- Mix it like a mad scientist: In a shaker, tall glass, or your favourite water tumbler- combine Milo, condensed milk, evaporated milk (if using), and cold milk/water. Stir or shake as if you're escaping the clutches of a hungry Pterodactyl.
- Ice Age begins: Fill a glass to the brim with ice cubes. Pour it in. Gently. Like you’re holding a dino egg.
- Time for the Die-no-saw roar: Heap on 2 tbsp (or more) of dry Milo powder on top. Let it sit there. Like the peaceful and slow-moving Stegosaurus.
Want to Rebirth this classic drink?
- Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Swirl in whipped cream.
- Top with crushed biscuits or cereal.

Welcome... to Flavour Park
Yes, it’s over the top. Yes, this drink is chaotic, like a pack of Velociraptors.
And yes, Jeff Goldblum famously said in the movies:
“Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
To that, we Malaysians say:
“Dei… MALAYSIA BOLEH.”
[cue Jurassic Park theme]
Just like the Jurassic Park movies, the Milo Dinosaur is a classic for a reason. Enjoyed by all ages, and so good- it’s always worthy of a sequel: “Boss, satu lagi!”
Jurassic World Rebirth is now out in cinemas.
Reliance College is now accepting future chefs.

*Tyrannosaurus rex: Apex predator of the Late Cretaceous. Massive jaws, two-fingered arms, and a bite force stronger than any land animal today.
**Mosasaurus: A marine reptile, not a dinosaur. Lived in oceans during the Late Cretaceous. Think: giant aquatic lizard with flippers and teeth.
Pterodactyl: Flying reptiles, not dinosaurs- belonging to the pterosaur group. First vertebrates to evolve powered flight.
Stegosaurus: A large and pecaeful herbivorous dinosaur known for its plated back and spiked tail.
Velociraptor: Small, feathered carnivore from Mongolia. Quick, intelligent, and likely hunted in packs using their sickle-shaped foot claws.
