LAWASIA International Moot Competition 2020

The 15th LAWASIA International Moot Competition (National Rounds), was held from the 7^th till the 9th of August 2020. In light of the raging pandemic, the event was hosted virtually via Zoom. This event was jointly organised by LAWASIA, the Bar Council, AIAIC, and the College of Law.

The BAC Mooting Society sent one team to compete and represent the college. This team consisted of three competent and professional members:  Michelle Wong Jia Lin, Tan Xu Yin and Tiffany Teng Yong Leng.

This event was organised not only to allow law students to practise their mooting skills, but to encourage them to learn new areas of law and to provide them the opportunity to build some relevant networks.

During the three eventful days, the mooting team was able to boost their mooting skills and received a ton of helpful feedback from the judges. It was a fun and informative experience for all three members.

They decided then and there, that they would gladly partake in similar events, if given the option.
