One day that everyone looks forward to is Club Recruitment Day, and it certainly didn't disappoint. With eager current and new students taking part in the big event on campus, students arrived in droves to find a home in a club or two.
Leo Club came swinging this year, making their mark during that exciting day, providing plenty of refreshment and recruitment opportunities to students looking for a club to find a home in. It certainly was a refreshing atmosphere to intrigued students, with members of the Leo Club sharing their mission and values at the same time.
Engaging with Drinks that Made a Difference
At the booth, Leo Club brought their cool drinks on a hot Malaysian day, selling the iconic A&W float and a refreshingly fizzy Ribena Lemon Sprite, for an affordable RM8. Their wonderful blend of refreshing beverages and affordability served as a perfect conversation starter while also providing a much-needed break from the day's activities.
Unsurprisingly, this booth became a hub for students, as they were drawn by the cool beverages and warm demeanour of Leo Club's members. Students got to quench their thirst while learning more about the club. Witnessing the enthusiasm of the members, many students signed up to be a part of the club's dedicated mission to give back to the community.
Building for the Future
Leo Club's strategy to engage with new recruits was a success. Meaningful discussions regarding their mission was a winning combination, as they successfully recruited new members.
In the end, Leo Club managed to raise several hundred ringgit through the sale of their of beverages. This will undoubtedly contribute to the continuous growth of the club and future missions, to aid the community and make a positive difference in people's lives.
