COURSE MODULES

Strategic Management
This module focuses on formulating, implementing, and evaluating strategies, studying strategic-management concepts and techniques. You will apply knowledge from previous business courses and new strategic-management skills to guide the future direction of various organisations.

Marketing Management
You will explore essential marketing concepts, processes, and influencing factors, and examine major environmental forces impacting marketing and components of the marketing mix. Differences in buying behaviors between final consumers and business customers are analysed.

Design Thinking
Practical thinking processes, problem solving techniques and effective presentation skills are critical to produce and pitch innovative ideas, products, services and user experiences that engages and excites users/customers. Through a Hackathon event and a series of TED Masterclass, you will practice Design Thinking to identify, brainstorm and frame solution to a real-world problem. You will be equipping yourself with an impactful set of collaborative and innovative tools, and compelling storytelling skills that enables strong connections with users/customers.  

Business Economics
This module addresses topics of how economic environment affects business decisions. It covers the core knowledge of economics for business to better manage scarce resources for sustainability. It is a highly practical module that explains the use of economic and non-economic information in the business context. This module also enhances skills in analysing and interpreting economic information in the context of the organisation, its competitors and industry.  

Accountancy & Finance 
This module is designed to introduce both Accounting and Finance subjects at intermediate level. You will cover accounting equation, Cash Book, double entry system,  types of assets & liabilities and capital and preparation of Limited Company's financial statement. The outcome of this module is to enable you to extract and interpret pertinent information from the financial statement. The Finance part covers areas such as financial institutions & market, return & risk, time value of money, valuation of Stocks & Bonds and Capital Budgeting. You will increase your financial knowledge to solve business problems and to make sound business decision. 

Project Paper 1 
This is the final module in the MBA, in which you will undertake a major project that will address digital business issues and opportunities in an organisation of your choice, and thereafter to recommend digital transformative solutions to improvise the operations and profitability of your chosen organisation. You are expected to apply the knowledge learnt in various MBA modules when undertaking this project. 

Global Management & Organisational Behavior 
This module provides a comprehensive analysis of individual and group behavior in organisations. Its purpose is to provide an understanding of how organizations can be managed more effectively and at the same time enhance the quality of employees work life. The emphasis will be on managerial roles, historical evolution of management, ethics, and behavior in multi-cultural contexts. This module deals with human behavior in organizations and with practices and methods within organizations that facilitate or hamper effective behavior. 

Human Resource Management 
This module aims to impart knowledge and build competency for strategic and general managers, focusing on inspiring and developing employees to enhance performance. While you maynot master technical topics like employment law or psychometric testing, but to develop essential skills for senior management roles.

Business Analytics 
This module emphasises the significance of business analytics in enabling organisations to make intelligent data-driven decisions, providing insights beyond mere reporting. It highlights the potential of combining internal and external data to create value.

E-Commerce 
This module explores the use of digital tools and platforms like the internet, mobile phones, and social media in e-commerce campaigns, highlighting how they revolutionise marketing practices and change consumer interactions.

Business Information System 
This module introduces you to business information systems, focusing on key components like people, software, hardware, data, and communication technologies, and their integration for competitive advantage, security, ethics, and crime.

Project Paper 2 
This final MBA module involves you tackling digital business issues in your chosen organizsation, recommending transformative solutions, and applying knowledge from various modules to improve operations and profitability.
