Music4Good 2.0:
When Music Becomes a Force for Good

It wasn’t just another night of music. It was a night of purpose, passion, and pure magic.
On 20th September 2025, Music4Good made its triumphant return. What began as a charity concert blossomed into something far greater. Music4Good 2.0: The Polymaths Are Back was a true celebration of community, resilience, and the extraordinary power of music to heal, unite, and change lives.
From the first electrifying chords of Long Train Running to the thunderous, joy-filled finale of Proud Mary, the night became a living testament to what happens when passion meets purpose, when music doesn’t just entertain, but uplifts hearts and opens doors for those who need it most.
Just before the concert began, Raja Singham, Managing Director and Chief Future Officer of BAC Education, took the stage to express his heartfelt gratitude to every attendee and donor whose generosity made the night possible. He shared that, together, this collective spirit of giving had raised over RM140,000, which will go on to support five incredible charities - Orphan Aid, OKU Sentral, SPCA Kajang, Free Food Society and the Society for the Severely Mentally Handicapped (SSMH). A portion of the proceeds will also be channeled to Development of Human Resources for Rural Areas (DHRRA Malaysia), extending the concert’s impact even further into the community.
Representatives from each charity then took the stage to share a few words of gratitude. Their heartfelt stories and messages of hope reminded everyone why nights like these matter. That every note played, every ringgit raised, and every act of kindness can truly change lives.
"The support we’ve received will make a real difference for our community of over five million individuals with disabilities. Funding has always been a challenge, but this contribution will help us continue vital programmes in education, digital skills, and mental health — empowering our members to live more independently.
Thank you everyone for your kindness and commitment."
- Senator Dato Dr Ras Adiba Radzi -
Co-founder & President, OKU Sentral
"Kindness can be the loudest sound of all. The support we’ve received will help us continue caring for our special needs community, while also feeding and uplifting families in need. This concert didn’t just raise funds. It raised hope, nourishing both hearts and lives."
- Fadillah Yakin -
President, Free Food Society I Vice President, SSMH
"Our deepest gratitude to all for their unwavering compassion and continuous support to those in need. SPCA Kajang has been blessed to receive time and again. The funds raised will truly bring much-needed sunshine into the lives of our furry friends. Thank you, and may God bless you always!"
- Jacqueline Vincent -
President, SPCA Kajang
"Thank you everyone who made this event possible. For many stateless children, the biggest barriers to education aren’t ambition or ability, but access. Your support will help them go to school, feel included, and rebuild their futures with dignity and hope."
- Chuah JoeAnn -
Project Coordinator & Paralegal, DHRRA Malaysia
The Stars of the Evening - The Polymaths
The Polymaths aren’t your typical band. By day, they’re CEOs, educators, and innovators. By night, they transform into musicians driven by a shared love for music, proving that creativity and compassion know no boundaries.
Each member brings their own rhythm of brilliance:
- Raja Singham, lead vocalist and co-founder of the BAC Education Group
- Sundara Raj Ramamurthy, guitarist and Chief Digital Officer at PwC Malaysia & Vietnam
- Sudesh Kumar Nair, bassist and CEO of Baycom Malaysia
- Siva Ramanathan, the band’s dynamic drummer, Chief Growth & Corporate Officer at Ksher
- Azlan Ahmad Shaharbi, on keyboards, a seasoned musician with over 30 years performing across Asia
Together, The Polymaths are a movement. A celebration of purpose, passion, and the power of music to inspire change.
Their setlist for the evening was a journey across genres and generations. The audience swayed to Prince's iconic When Doves Cry, clapped along to Don’t Stop Me Now, and were swept into nostalgia during a moving medley of Malay songs featuring classics like Oh Sayang, Seribu Tahun, and Rindu Bayangan. By the time the band powered into I Feel Good and Blame It on the Boogie, the hall was on its feet, dancing, singing, and celebrating the night away.
Joining The Polymaths on stage for a special number was Alisha Singham, daughter of Raja Singham, whose powerful vocals lit up the stage, and Inesh, son of drummer Siva Ramanathan, who wowed the crowd with his remarkable talent. Returning as backup vocalist, Lathah brought her signature energy and infectious joy, while Salman added his smooth harmonies to complete the unforgettable night.
When Art Meets Heart
Just like at the first concert, Kumar Nagalingam, once again lit up the evening with his vibrant, thought-provoking artworks. A true polymath and Head of HRD Academy, Kumar filled Music4Good with colour, emotion, and heart, generously donating 50% of his art proceeds to Music4Good.
A Night That Lingers
What made Music4Good 2.0 remarkable was how it combined entertainment with empathy. It was a night where Every Breath You Take wasn't just a song title. Every moment was a reminder that every action counts, every contribution matters, and every moment shared creates ripples of hope for all those seeking it.
As the final chords echoed through the hall, there was no doubt that the concert had achieved its purpose. The music may have stopped, but its impact will resonate for years to come. Once again, it has proven that when communities come together, guided by compassion and fuelled by love for art, they can create something extraordinary that stays within us for a very long time.
The night ended on a high as BAC Education’s resident DJ, Josh, took over the decks, spinning crowd favourites and timeless hits that kept everyone dancing, laughing, and celebrating long after the final song.
