Tea for a Cause: BAC Rotaract Club Supports the Purple Pinkie Project

Uniting for a Polio-Free World

This November saw the Rotaract Club of Brickfields Asia College bring their A-game in compassion and purpose to the BAC Flagship PJ Campus through Tea for a Cause. This was a fundraising and awareness initiative in support of polio eradication. The event was organised as part of the Purple Pinkie Project led by the Rotaract Club of Petaling Jaya and held in conjunction with the global World Polio Day campaign, a reminder that the fight against polio is still ongoing.

Small Conversations, Real Impact

What made the day especially meaningful was the response from the campus community. Many stopped by for a cup of tea, but stayed to learn more, ask questions, and share their support for the cause. These simple moments of connection highlighted how small acts, when multiplied, can contribute to real change.

Building a Culture of Service

Beyond fundraising, Tea for a Cause strengthened the values at the heart of the BAC Rotaract Club. It fostered teamwork, civic responsibility, and a shared commitment to serving the wider community. Every cup served had a purpose, and every conversation helped keep the mission of polio eradication alive.

Gratitude and Looking Ahead

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who stopped by the stall and supported the initiative. Together, the BAC Rotaract Club continues to make a difference, one cup at a time. Here is to more collaborations, meaningful initiatives, and acts of service that create lasting impact.
