Mun Yew is a Partner in Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill’s leading Corporate & Commercial Dispute Resolution department and the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice. As an active practitioner in both the Courts and arbitration, he has successfully secured favourable outcomes for his clients as both lead and co-counsel.
In the TMT sector, Mun Yew provides strategic counsel to reputable industry players on regulatory compliance, specifically regarding the Communications & Multimedia Act 1998 and the mandatory standards issued by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). His experience spans the full lifecycle of technical infrastructure, including the provision of telecommunication and network services, IT services, and the construction of network facilities. Additionally, he manages a broad range of commercial agreements, including broadcasting and sponsorship deals, the procurement of hardware and software, and other critical IT and Telco-related contracts.
