For 25 years, Baycom has worked on one belief that access to connectivity should never depend on postcode. When communities are connected, education improves, livelihoods expand, and opportunity becomes real.
But across rural Sabah, Sarawak, and parts of Peninsular Malaysia, the digital divide still determines who gets to learn, compete, and progress. For many students, online learning is not a tool they can use, because they simply cannot reach it. The cost is quiet but severe, including lost potential, stalled mobility, and communities left out of a rapidly digitising economy.
That is why Baycom, together with BAC Education Group and UNIMY, is launching Every School Online, a national effort to connect underserved schools and build sustained digital capability around them. We are pairing Baycom’s satellite connectivity with high-quality learning and training support so that access is not temporary and impact is not superficial.
