Make It Right Movement

The Make It Right Movement (MIRM) is our CSR arm that collaborates with over 120 social good entities and is involved in more than 200 charity programmes, CSR-related projects and events annually.

GiveBACk.my

Founded in April 2020, to specifically address the needs of those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, GiveBACk.my is our curated fundraising platform where 100% of your donations will go directly to the NGOs and charities you choose to help.

FreeMakan

Launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, FreeMakan.com is a BAC Food Bank initiative dedicated to eradicating food poverty in Malaysia by providing dry rations and cooked food to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. We have partnered with a network of community-based organisations to meet the immediate needs of the poor and homeless affected by the pandemic.

UPLIFT

UPLIFT is an inclusive, collaborative initiative to raise awareness, to foster and to advocate action-oriented programmes to uplift our society.

We proudly support the initiatives, projects, and causes of our students, partners, and affiliates, and welcome all suggestions to bring progressive social change.

1MillionDevices

In response to the shift to “online learning” worldwide, “1MillionDevices” is a nationwide programme by UPLIFT dedicated to ensuring no child is left behind. In this ambitious initiative, digital devices will be provided to underprivileged children who are unable to afford these necessities to pursue their education, thus enabling them to break free of the cycle of poverty.

ReachOut

Launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ReachOut is an initiative dedicated to providing aid and support for those going through mental health issues, depression, anxiety, and stress.

We want you to know that you are not alone, and we are committed to helping and supporting you mentally and emotionally through these dark times.

When you empower a woman, you empower a nation.

For many years women and girls have fought for their human rights – to be educated; to access healthcare, to break the glass ceiling, to be paid equally, and much more. But, in Malaysia and around the world, women and girls continue to miss out on opportunities to go to school and women don’t have secure or paid jobs and experience socio-economic challenges that make them vulnerable to injustice. They also don’t have access to crucial digital and technological skills that could help them break free from the vicious cycle of poverty.

AsiaHeroes

Asia Heroes is an initiative which links volunteers to organisations in need! In collaboration with the UPLIFT initiative, Asia Heroes works tirelessly with NGOs, corporate and community groups, statutory bodies, and volunteers to achieve its mission of connecting you to inspiring causes throughout Malaysia, and across the SEA region.

PawsRescue

Launched in November 2021, PawsRescue.my is a collaborative nationwide campaign by UPLIFT (Pertubuhan Bangkit) to advocate for homeless cats and dogs. We work with rescue groups, shelters, and animal welfare volunteers across Malaysia to advocate for animal welfare and to create a more compassionate world for stray animals.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.

CovidFund

In response to the critical need for life-saving medical equipment and essential medical supplies, CovidFund.my was launched in August 2021 together with partners Rotary District 3300, Yayasan Kelab-kelab Rotary Malaysia, The Malaysian Association of Hong Kong, and Make It Right Movement. To date, over RM427,000 has been raised, and supplies have been sent to hospitals in the Klang Valley and across Malaysia.
