Four Months. Full House. Countless Memories. 🎬 BAC Free Movie Day Recap: Four Months of Movies, Memories & Full Houses🍿

What started as a simple initiative to give BAC students a well-deserved break has quickly become one of the most anticipated highlights of campus life.

Over the past four months, BAC Free Movie Day has brought students together at TGV, Jaya Shopping Centre for many Thursday evenings filled with blockbuster entertainment, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Every screening has been met with an incredible response, with packed cinemas proving that there’s nothing quite like enjoying a great movie with friends. From nostalgic favourites and family adventures to action-packed epics and superhero spectacles, each month has delivered a unique cinematic experience.

Our Movie Journey So Far

April | A Blockbuster Beginning – We kicked off our movie journey with an exciting line-up that had something for everyone. From animated adventures and timeless action to inspiring stories and a touch of high fashion, April set the stage for months of cinematic fun like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, The Mummy, Michael and The Devil Wears Prada 2

May | A Galaxy of Adventure – In May, students travelled to a galaxy far, far away, experiencing the action, wonder, and excitement of Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu.

June | Nostalgia Meets New Heroes – June brought together beloved childhood classics and exciting new adventures. Students revisited treasured memories while discovering inspiring heroes through: Toy Story and Supergirl

July | Bigger Adventures, Greater Legends – The adventure continued in July with epic journeys across the seas and through legendary tales. Students immersed themselves in stories of courage, discovery, and unforgettable adventures with: Moana and looking forward to The Odyssey.

From magical worlds and iconic heroes to unforgettable adventures, every month has brought a new story to discover. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter of our movie journey will bring!

BAC Free Movie Day is about more than just the films on the big screen. It’s about taking a break from assignments, catching up with friends, sharing laughter, and creating memories that last long after the credits roll. Every full-house screening is a reminder that some of the best moments of student life happen outside the classroom.

And the story doesn’t end here! With Spider-Man swinging into the line-up and even more blockbuster releases planned through December 2026, there’s plenty more to look forward to.
