Course Entry Requirements
- Master’s Degree (through coursework/mixed mode) in a related field. Master’s Degree by research is a field related to Education,
- Students who have 1st Class Honours at the undergraduate level, subject to conditions laid out in MQA circular Bil13/2019 of 17 July 2019, or
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree are subject to approval by Veritas University College

How long does the Phd Project take?
The duration of the PhD project depends on whether you are enrolled full-time or part-time:
- Full-time PhD: Takes approximately 8 to 9 semesters, divided into 4 stages.
- Part-time PhD: Takes approximately 11 to 12 semesters, divided into 4 stages.
The duration includes different stages such as research methods courses, data collection, thesis submission, and viva examination.
How many courses will I take each semester?
For the PhD programme, there is only one course, which is research methodology. This course does not have a final exam; instead, you will complete and submit assignments.
How many credit hours do I need to complete for the PhD course?
The PhD in Education programme requires the completion of three credit hours.
