With this Course, You Will:

  • Demonstrate mastery of pedagogical content knowledge in the area of Early Childhood Education through theory and practice.
  • Apply cognitive skills in designing and improving learning experiences in a range of Early Childhood Education settings.
  • Apply practical skills in creating a safe, nurturing and conducive environment in Early Childhood Education settings.
  • Function with effective interpersonal skills in engaging appropriate scope of cross-cultural and social responsibility to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education.
  • Communicate effectively by working independently and collaboratively with young children, peers, professional communities, and society.
  • Apply technology to plan and execute the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills for self- development and lifelong learning in Early Childhood Education.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and scientific methods to synthesize and articulate numerical and visual aids in Early Childhood Education.

      How Do I Get In?

      • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C [Grade Point (GP) 2.0] in any two subjects, or its equivalent; OR
      • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR
      • 5 Bs in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) (including English Language); OR
      • Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent; OR
      • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent; OR
      • A Diploma in any field or its equivalent.

      *For international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 OR its equivalent is required
